pierre cremieuxPresident Pierre Crémieux, Ph.D.
Pierre is an expert in quantitative methods, health economics and health outcomes.  He is a Managing Principal at Analysis Group, where he often serves as an expert on pharmaceutical and health economics issues in litigation cases, as well as for U.S. regulatory agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).  He has taught at Boston University and the University of Québec at Montréal, where he served as a tenured professor and is now an adjunct professor. He continues to publish actively on a range of topics from health economics to statistical methods and antitrust issues. Pierre grew up in France before moving to the United States, where he received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California-Berkeley.

 

catherine tassettoVice President Patrick Petit, M.Sc.
Mr. Petit is a highly qualified economist with degrees in Finance, Economics, and Public Finance Management.  He currently works with the International Monetary Fund on tax policy but he also has a vast work experience, ranging from economic and financial consulting, to tax reform in Africa, politics, academic research and international organizations. Mr. Petit has cumulated many academic distinctions and has published in scientific peer-reviewed journals. He has authored many reports on topics such as the healthcare cost of tobacco in Canada, the tax potential of the mining sector in Mali, issues with tobacco taxes in Pakistan or the economic benefits of drugs in Canada.  Amongst other things, Mr. Petit was recently the project Manager for the Report on the Global Tobacco Epidemic, a landmark World Health Organization publication in tobacco control. He has appeared before parliamentary commissions and the international media.  Mr. Petit is a former participant in Canada World Youth, a development-oriented youth exchange program sponsored by the Canadian government, hence a long-lasting interest in development issues.

 


sally wardTreasurer Sally Ward, M.D., M.P.H.
Sally practices family medicine with the Redwood Medical Group, and previously was Chief Resident of Family Medicine at the Dartmouth Leadership Preventative Medicine Residency at Concord Hospital. She has worked and volunteered on clinical and strategic health management missions to Tanzania, Honduras, and Nicaragua.  Sally received a B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College, M.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University Medical School and M.P.H. from Dartmouth Medical School’s Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice.



 

brian gorinCLERK Brian Gorin, M.S., M.B.A.
As a Managing Principal of Analysis Group, Brian is a specialist in business and technology strategies to help companies and organizations sustain competitive advantage and realize growth goals. He has worked extensively in the life sciences, biotechnology, high-tech, chemical, oil and gas, and agribusiness industries. Brian is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he received a M.S. in Chemical Engineering, and Columbia University Graduate School of Business, where he received his M.B.A.

 

 

dwayne banksDwayne Banks, Ph.D.
As the founder and President of Health and Social Sector Analysis, LLC, and as an experienced health economist, Dwayne brings an understanding of developing countries’ health systems, hospital accreditation, health care financing, survey and insurance design, and training of local health staff to the MAC team.   Most recently the Dean of the School of Business Administration at the American University in Dubai, Dwayne also worked in Jordan for more than 8 years as the Chief of Party for Abt Associates’ Partnerships for Health Reform and Partners for Health Reform Plus programs, that provided long-term technical assistance to the Jordanian government in reforming their health system.  During his tenure as an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at the University of California at Berkeley, Dwayne was awarded the prestigious Atlantic Fellowship in Public Policy by the British government; He held the position of Visiting Scholar at the London School of Economics and the King’s Fund Policy Institute.   He has served on the medical school admissions committee at the University of California at San Francisco, and on San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown’s Blue Ribbon Committee to design a universal health insurance plan for San Francisco residents.   Dwayne earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, and his B.S. and B.A. degrees in Chemistry and Economics, respectively, from the University of California at Irvine.
